Overheard in a D.C. Taxi Cab:

Marco Rubio

“All I know is if I’d shaken Raul Castro’s hand, in the middle of a memorial service for Nelson Mandela, I would have been a real AMERICAN man and would have called his Cuban ass OUT for all of the human rights violations in his country. Yep. Right in the middle of the memorial service because I'm that kind of guy. Be a man, President Obama!”

Sen. Marco Rubio (R-Florida), criticizing President Barack Obama for shaking hands with the Cuban leader. Rubio is the son of Cuban immigrants and was part of the Senate effort to overhaul immigration policies in the United States, but has since backed away from the bipartisan reform packaged developed in early 2013 and later passed by the Senate. The House refuses to consider the Senate bipartisan bill.
