Overheard in Washington and Hollywood:

Sen. Graham

"I've owned guns all of my life. There is nothing I like better than staring down the barrel of a hot, hard, long... assault rifle.  I own an AR-15. I saw the movie 'Django (Unchained).' I like Quentin Tarantino."

Sen Lindsey Graham (R-S.C.), renowned lesbian and president/charter member of the national "I'm a Flaming Asshole" Club

Quentin Tarantino

"Talking about movies in the same breath as a fictional movie is disrespectful to every real victim of gun violence out there. And I wanna know RIGHT the FUCK now: when Graham says he 'likes' me, does he mean 'like like' or just 'like."

Quentin Tarantino, director of movies featuring violence to an almost cartoonish degree. There are about 500 recorded deaths in the eight movies Tarantino
has directed, with the manner of death ranging from having your head bashed in by
a slamming door to more mundane every day gun violence. Unlike most members
of Congress, though, Tarantino knows he deals in fiction.
