Overheard in the House:

John Boehner

“Unemployment is still too high. The economy is still floundering. Yes, I realize it is in the best shape it has been in in the last eight years. Yes, I realize every number analyzed looks better and more promising than it ever did under President George W. Bush. No, I don’t have even a clue as to how to fix it and stopped trying to develop a plan months ago because it was making my head ache. But what I do know, and I think many would agree with me, is that every single damn economic problem we have had since 2009 rest on the shoulders of President Barack Obama and if he would just work with Congress, and do what we say, everything would be great. It is up to Obama to fix everything, though, because Congress is too busy engaging in a giant circle jerk. We are attempting to get into the Guinness Book of World Records for the largest number of professional jerks jerking each other off in a small space. If we make it, I will be so proud.”

Speaker of the House John Boehner (R-Ohio), whose personal fortune is estimated at between $1.7 and $5.5 million.
