“The GOP’s state-by-state war on the
reproductive health rights of women is going to impact lives negatively for
generations to come. Women will die. The GOP is a bunch of miserable
bastards—and most of them are old, angry men, though there are enough women involved to
make me really wonder whether they ate a lot of lead paint growing up. How can
this be happening? It does make me wonder why men in the Republican Party hate
women so much and wish to see them barefoot, pregnant and subservient to the
males in their lives forever more. Oh wait. I just answered my own question,
didn’t I? This war on pregnant women makes me glad I am a lesbian—a hot
lesbian, with her own TV show.”
