Overheard on 'State of the Union':

Candace Crowley

"For a long time, you loved Gov. Christie. And now here you are complaining because Gov. Christie only gave Hoboken $70 million out of the $300 million in federal aid New Jersey received. You know, you're being a bit greedy, don't you think?"

"Candace, you are really showing your rather enormous ass here. The $70 million Hoboken received was from federal flood insurance purchased by merchants in Hoboken, not from the state's federal aid for Hurricane Sandy. Let me guess. You got your talking points from Go. Christie's office."

Hoboken Mayor Dawn Zimmer (D)

"Yes. That's correct; I did. It's too much work to do my own research. So much gravy; so little time."

"Well, if you'd done just a little bit of homework, you'd know we received $300,000 in federal aid. That's all. But you just go back to thinking about gravy."
