Overheard in Pennsylvania:

"The federal government can take its Medicaid expansion and shove it up its bloated Washington ass! I've got more important things to do than help the poor. I don't give a damn if the expansion would still require someone to earn less than $15,000 a year to qualify for basic health care coverage and the federal government will pay for 90 percent of the costs. A salary of $15,000 is minimum wage and that is more than enough to live on, dammit! If poor people need medical care, they can just pay for it with food stamps—the same way they purchase cigarettes and lottery tickets. God, I hate the poor. They are such a pain in the ass."

Pennsylvania Governor Tom Corbett (R), who keeps making national news by displaying his total contempt for anyone earning less than he does and his total separation from reality.
