Overheard on 'Face the Nation':

John McCain

"It is time to have a real discussion about these stand your ground laws that we have in America. I like killing people with my bare teeth as much as the next guy, but I just don't think these laws do anything positive in our country. The same is true of Liz and Dick Cheney. We need to have a serious discussion about them as well because they definitely have nothing positive to offer to anyone."

"Why is that old man picking on me, Daddy? Do we know him?"

Liz Cheney, extremely smug and abrasive far right wing conservative pundit steeped heavily in the politics of fear and maintaining a distance from reality. Cheney has announced she is seeking the GOP nomination for the senate position held by Mike Enzi, who has no plans to retire. Cheney's move has sparked a lot of anger from Enzi's fellow GOP senators.

Dick Cheney

"No, he is just some homeless guy. He probably has a sad story. Just ignore him and he will go away."

Dick Cheney, 46th vice president, principal architect of the Bush Administration and escaped demon from hell.
