Overheard in New Jersey:

“Me? Endorse bullying tactics against someone who didn’t endorse me? Cause traffic tie-ups affecting thousands of people? Why … I’d never do that! What a terrible thing to say! C'mon. Let's have a ham sandwich.”

New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie (R), under fire for lane closures on the George Washington Bridge allegedly enacted to extract revenge on Mark Sokolich, mayor of Fort Lee, N.J., who did not endorse Christie’s re-election bids. Emails and texts from Christie’s top aides have surfaced linking the administration to the closure.
