Overheard on QVC:

Paula Deen

“Someone out there is saying I paid my Nig...er, my Negro employees in beer. Now that’s just absurd. As if. Beer is expensive. Besides, they don’t like beer. What they like is fried chicken and watermelon. That’s what I pay them with. They loves my chicken. They loves watermelon. And those two things are trade-able commodities in their communities.”

Paula Deen, famed cook embroiled in a civil lawsuit involving her alleged use of the most extreme racial slurs out there. Her show has been dropped by the Food Network as a result of the controversy surrounding the trial. Rumors that she plans to release a "K-K-K-iss the Cook" apron have not been confirmed but are funny as hell.
