"I am living breathing proof that if you run for office in a heavily GOP district in a Southern state, you can fuck anyone, steal anything, and behave any goddam way you want to and all you need to do to get re-elected is say, 'I asked for God's forgiveness,' and 'Isn't Nancy Pelosi a cunt in stereo and someone has gotta stop her and I'd like you to let it be me' and you will win."

Mark Sanford, former U.S. Representative and governor of South Carolina, who while in Congress, voted to impeach President Bill Clinton on the basis of the his alleged extramarital  infidelities, and just won re-election to the same seat in Congress.
