Overheard in Michele Bachmann's Head:

Michele Bachmann

“Wait… I just had this brief moment of clarity… Pardon me while I sit down, but the whole room is spinning. I believe they refer to this as a moment of immunization. Or immolation. Something like that.

“OK… Here’s my moment of clarity: President Obama is one-half African and one-half Caucasian, yet he is known as our first ‘black president.’ We never say he is our first ‘half-and-half’ president; we say he is ‘black’—but that’s not true, is it? However, when it comes to Rafael EdwardTedCruz, my favorite Texas Senator, we don’t ever really discuss the fact that he is half-Cuban and half-Caucasian—we just say he’s white and call him ‘Ted.’ Something tells me that is a really profound concept there, but I don’t know what it is. My klonopin just kicked in and you know what? IT DOESN’T FUCKING MATTER!
Rep. Michele Bachman (R-Minnesota)
