filibuster by the Senate GOP hasn't been about throwing your weight around? Hasn't been about
THIS president? Hasn't been a statement on racism in this country? Hasn't been a way to block progress by this administration? Look at the
numbers: Filibusters by BOTH parties were used 86 times in history to block nominees
by the 43 previous presidents. That's for ALL of the presidents
before Obama combined. In the five years President Obama has been in office there have been 82 filibusters
waged by Senate Republicans! If that isn't a planned effort against this
administration, I don't know what is."
